This notice covers the Commy website, web app, and mobile apps. Praxy's separate services use the Praxy privacy policy.

• Account and preferences: identity, email address, speaking goals, practice preferences, reminder settings, and privacy choices.
• Private practice: camera or microphone recordings, transcripts, word timestamps, filler and pause markers, prompt responses, revisions, and derived coaching signals.
• Progress: completed practices, streaks, weekly comparisons, focus actions, and your private history.
• Technical information: device and browser type, app version, page and feature events, approximate region, diagnostics, security logs, and network information such as IP address.
• Circles: circle membership, invite activity, preset encouragement, and completion-card fields: completion, streak, and prompt category.

Raw recordings are retained by default so you can replay a take and compare earlier and later practice. Before each recording, you can switch retention off. You can also change the default in Privacy settings or delete a saved attempt.

When retention is off, Commy may hold an encrypted recording briefly to finish transcription and coaching, then schedules the raw object for deletion. Transcripts are retained by default because they power evidence highlights and progress history; you can change that setting too.

For practice without an account, any copy you choose to keep remains in the app's private storage on your device. Server-side anonymous practice data is transient and is removed after the anonymous session expires. Durable cloud history requires an account.

Your recordings and transcripts are private. They are not shown in accountability circles, public feeds, or search results. Commy does not offer a public recording feed in this release.

Commy sends the recording to OpenAI for speech transcription when automatic transcription is available. The transcript and practice duration may then be sent through OpenRouter to the selected language-model provider for structured coaching. Provider-backed coaching is configured to deny data collection and request zero data retention where the selected provider supports those controls.

If a provider is unavailable, Commy can use a transparent local rules-based evaluator or let you edit the transcript. Commy does not use your recording, transcript, or feedback to train its own models, and V1 does not include an opt-in model-training program.

Automated feedback can be incomplete or wrong. It is practice guidance, not professional, medical, legal, or employment advice. You decide whether a suggestion is useful.

• Provide recording, transcription, coaching, history, streak, reminder, comparison, and circle features you choose to use.
• Secure the service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, maintain availability, and enforce product limits.
• Understand aggregate feature usage and improve the product. Analytics are configured without session replay or automatic capture of page text and form inputs.
• Send service messages and optional reminders. Notification previews do not include recording or transcript content.
• Meet legal obligations and respond to valid requests.

Commy uses service providers to run the product, including Clerk for identity, Railway for hosting, database, cache, and private object storage, OpenAI for transcription, OpenRouter and the selected model provider for coaching, PostHog for limited product analytics, and Expo or device platforms for mobile delivery and notifications.

Providers receive only the information needed for their task and process it under their own terms and our configuration. Information may be processed in countries other than yours. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or during a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information or recordings, and we do not share practice content for targeted advertising.

Saved recordings, transcripts, and coaching history remain available until you delete an attempt, disable the relevant retention setting for new attempts, or delete your Commy practice data. Operational backups and security logs may persist for a limited period before rotating.

A deletion request hides affected practice data from the product immediately and queues stored objects for permanent deletion. Short-lived upload objects, failed uploads, and recordings marked not to retain are removed through automated cleanup.

Use the in-app Privacy settings to change defaults or delete practice data. You can also ask to access, correct, export, or delete account information by emailing build@praxel.in. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

Commy uses access controls, encrypted transport, encrypted private recording storage, short-lived playback access, and ownership checks. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so report anything suspicious to us promptly.

Commy is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

We may update this notice as Commy changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change is material.
